70.20.10 rules!

use 70 percent of your time to do on the thing that needed to fulfill your daily needs.

another 20 percent of your time to do on fun things that you interested in.

the rest 10 percent of your time to do on else things beside the 70 and 20

i think put the 70.20.10 rule in my daily activities, such as example on april 1, 2010.

(my 70 percent)
april 1, 2010. 10am – 12.pm
“meeting for my next social media business unit”

april 1, 2010. 1pm – 2pm
“lunch meeting with business partners”

(my 20 percent)
april 1, 2010. 3pm – 5pm
“attend the creative junkies book launch by yoris sebastian”

april 1, 2010. 7pm – 10pm
“Meet-up FreSh with FreSh friends”

(my 10 percent)
april 1, 2010. 11pm – 5pm
“felt a-sleep … ”

Buku Pintar Seorang Creative Junkies

Kalo ditanya siapa icon creative di Indonesia? yg pertama kali muncul dibenakku adalah sosok tinggi si creative junkies Yoris Sebastian.

Pemenang IYCE (Indonesia Young Creative Entrepreneur) Award 2006, di usia 26 tahun pernah menjadi GM HardRock Cafe termuda kedua di dunia, peraih penghargaan Indonesian Young Marketers Awards 2003, dan seabreg penghargaan lainnya.

Pertama kenal @yoris at my former-office MarkPlus, sangat jauh dari kesan sombong, padahal dia sudah benar-benar menjadi celebritis dunia kreatif. Seorang yg supel, ramah dan tipe pekerja keras yg handal.

Kamis, 1 april 2010 kemarin bertempat di HardRock Cafe Jakarta, @yoris officially merilis buku pertamanya berjudul “Oh My Goodness – Buku Pintar seorang Creative Junkies”, acaranya sungguh full of surprise kental dengan nuansa kreativitas, dari cover buku yg sengaja sengaja dibuat hitam putih dan melibatkan audience untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses pewarnaan cover buku, yg paling kreatif akan diberi hadiah iPad.
Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan tema april mop ngerjain para audience dengan kejutan iPad.

Tidak hanya itu, arangement content bukunya pun tidak seperti buku yg lainnya, creative junkies sengaja dicetak tanpa nomor halaman, bagi @yoris nomer halaman tidak penting, karena sudah ada pembatas halaman.. *hemm.. bener juga ya, pembatas halaman berfungsi utk menandai sudah baca sampai mana, jadi tidak perlu mengingat nomer halaman buku.

Belum selesai sampai disitu, @yoris juga mengajak para pembacanya untuk berinteraksi melalui diskusi online by twitter dengan menciptakan hastags #CJ1 #CJ2 #CJ3 dst, kepanjangan dari #CreativeJunkies chapter 1-9. Full endorsed di akhir setiap chapter buku Creative Junkies.

Ok, it is february now, rainy seasons still around the neighborhood, that made my daily activity a complete disaster, well.. not quite disastrous though

On this february, i came into my new branding milestone, changing my twitter page theme, bold enough to state my personal branding statement on-become: social network and online community strategist.

I love networking, knowing someone else and share about fun topics.
Being in twitter, connecting with other tweep, it is really helping me on my purpose building a healthy valuable network, especially for my personal brand image.

There’s come up couple questions:

How do i know i tweet a valuable content on my twitter page?
How do i know which tweep (people on twitter) is good for me?

Well… i use these fantastic twitter measurement tools, that i recommended you to use it on your daily twitter networking activity.

MentionMap
is a fantastic application that visualize recent comment and tweet cloud between tweeps network, it is a fun way to find people that tweet about your interesting topics.
just play around with it, and you may find relevant tweep to follow!

My Personal Branding Mentors

I thing that the most difficult thing to learn is to learn about your-self, to know what do you want exactly, to understand what you need, and to describe what you want.

But as you know, it all about you and by your own perceptions.
And talking about “personal branding”, your own perceptions is not the most important, because “It’s not What You Say, It’s What They Say about You”, the most important now is their perceptions.

I love learning more about personal branding, creating a personal branding matrix for all my goals, etc.
I always think that i’am a student of personal branding, i learn and learn more from my personal branding mentors.
